No Makeup, No Problem

One of the biggest things that I have struggled with in my confidence journey is not wearing makeup. When I was younger, there was never a time that I would leave the house without makeup. As I've gotten older and have started to really focus on taking care of my skin, it has made such a difference. I can leave my house without makeup and still feel beautiful. For me, it was not always just about what I looked like body wise, it was my face appearance as well. I thought that wearing makeup is what made me prettier, which is not the case. Self confidence is not selfish, it is loving yourself.
This week I made a goal for myself to not wear any makeup during the school week. No matter what I did, I would not wear makeup. It was honestly so freeing because I didn't have to worry about doing my makeup. Self confidence to me is all about self love and knowing your worth and by doing little things that make me feel better about myself, it truly helps.
If this is something you struggle with, I challenge you to not wear makeup to class or to dinner. Build it up to a whole day or an entire week. Wash that face and moisturize that skin, and I promise you, it will feel so great.
Good luck!
