Two Steps Forward

I haven't been feeling like myself lately. I don't want to eat well, I just want to sleep, and working out just seems like a chore. But that's okay. Sometimes it is okay to feel trapped in this hole that you can't get out of because eventually there comes a point where you realize you want to climb up.
With social media, it's almost like we feel pressured to always "be busy" because if someone is doing more than we are, we feel like we aren't doing enough. A lot of the time, because of this, we often make excuses.
At this point in my blog, i've shared a lot about myself and the journey i've been on to self love. But that's just it. I've realized that it is not about the destination, it is about the paths we are taking to get there. Getting up in the morning and making a list of goals or taking some time for yourself are a part of that, or can be if you choose.
It's just always important to remind yourself that it's okay to take a step back because most of the time, that will just make you take two steps forward.
